Our Story
Founded in 2018, Hanah Bridal is a Hong Kong-based concept store specializing in wedding gowns and handcrafted wedding bands.
Founder Maice Chiu, who spent over six years working in public relations for European fashion designer brands, was serendipitously drawn to Japan—where she worked for a renowned bridal designer in Tokyo.
“Clean design with thoughtful details—this is the ideal image many brides hold in their hearts. True craftsmanship lies in the details, which are not simple at all; they reflect careful research and the dedication of the designer” Maice recalls of her time in the Tokyo bridal atelier.
Inspired by this experience, Maice founded Hanah Bridal to introduce the refined artistry of Japanese wedding gowns and handmade wedding bands to Hong Kong. The store offers a carefully curated selection of designer brands from Japan, each providing semi-custom services to ensure that every wedding ring is uniquely tailored to the couple. All wedding bands are handcrafted in Japan, using premium materials and traditional techniques, reflecting both beauty and timeless craftsmanship.
At the same time, we are proud to announce the launch of Hanah Wedding, a concept store featuring handcrafted wedding bands by Japanese designers. The select shop is located at 809 – 402 West Pender Street, Hanah Wedding occupies a heritage building formerly known as the British Columbia Securities Building. Built in 1911–12, the structure exemplifies the Chicago School architectural style and Edwardian Classical Revival detailing. hanah wedding has preserved the building’s historic elegance while infusing it with soft Japanese touches—subtle ivory walls, vintage wood flooring, and antique Japanese furniture pieces evoke a serene and inviting atmosphere.
The new Vancouver flagship features handcrafted wedding rings, engagement rings and jewelry by Japanese designers, offering semi-custom services that reflect each couple’s personal love story. All rings are meticulously handmade in Japan using traditional techniques and premium materials.
